The Millionaire Test Kitchen

Enter: a high-rise apartment in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Spacious, elegant, and home to our curious potential client—a successful entrepreneur with a refined palate.
Taking the lead, Chef Kirby Goh, accompanied by Assistant Chef Gavin Naoki Danna, stepped into the challenge. This wasn’t just about cooking—it was a live audition for long-term trust.

A Four-Course Experience at Home

First Course

We began light yet flavorful. A Sourdough Bruschetta was layered with creamy Avocado Puree, Soy-Marinated Egg Yolks, and sweet Cherry Tomatoes. The dish was balanced, bright, and a perfect teaser for what was ahead.

Second Course

Next came comfort in a bowl: a Chicken Consommé, delicate yet full-bodied, served with Edamame and seasonal Vegetables. Crystal-clear and soul-warming.

Main Course

For the centerpiece, we presented Steak Au Poivre—juicy, peppery, and seared to perfection. It rested on a bed of Hummus Mashed Potatoes, beside Grilled Garlic Broccoli, with a surprise twist: Baked Yuzu Butter Scallops. A bold fusion, yet it worked seamlessly.

Dessert

To close, we served a silky Pandan Crème Caramel, crowned with Red Wine Gel and a hint of Cream Cheese. Complex, aromatic, and a sweet finish that lingered.

Beverage Pairing

Every course was accompanied by a chilled Sparkling Green Tea, subtly infused with Cured Berries—refreshing, elegant, and alcohol-free.
